A: Central Serengeti (Seronera) or

B: Kogatende circuit (Mara River for migration crossing)

This tour starts 06:00 AM, an approximately of 30- 45 minutes’ drive from Mugumu Town to Serengeti National park via IKOMA or Tabora “B” Gate.  With your Tanzanian born guide from Setco Guide & Safaris, you will arrive at the gate at around 6:45AM, check in procedure will take place for some minutes and you will start your wonderful game view through Ikoma/Tabara B circuit enroute to Seronera (Central Serengeti)/Kogatende.  You will have a short break for your packed lunch at any of the designed Picnic site i.e Seronera visitors centre or Kogatende area.

You`ll enjoy your day in seronera  Valley a transition zone between the southern plains and northern woodland. It’s possible to see many of resident Serengeti`s wildlife/animals including Buffalo, Giraffe, Topi, Hartebeest, Hippo, Impala, warthog, large pride of lion, spotted hyena and big herds of Elephants. The elusive leopard is also common here but less easy to spot, the seronera river tracks offer the best chance to see leopards which usually rest in the branches of Acacia or sausage trees. It`s possible as well to search for Great wildebeest migration depends with time and seasons of your visit.

After enough game viewing around 5:00 Pm, then you`ll drive back to Mugumu just for dinner and overnight, and it`ll be the end of your DAY TOUR TO SERENGETI.

Best time to book and visit:

a). For central Serengeti; you can book and visit from January – December however February to April it’s a rainy season and therefore, some of the game drive circuit in the park  couldn’t be accessible and it can be hard to see some animals as they escape the heavy bush. It’s the best time for those who want to see the green vegetation, birding and natural wild flowers.

b). For Northern/Kogatende circuit; to see the great migration crossing the Mara river, you are advised to book and visit as from mid-July to October
